Layla Ishaq was appointed CEO of Navitus in January, 2010. In this role, she is responsible for corporate strategy and execution. Prior to assuming this responsibility, Layla was heading Navitus’ marketing function, focused on client relationship management. During this time she was also involved in consultancy/training assignments.

Layla brings six years of human resource & strategic leadership experience. She is keenly interested in the ‘human side’ of organizations or what is also widely known as human capital, which comprises of all the intangibles that people bring to their jobs. She is a strong believer of Maslow's maxim: "What a man can be, he must be". Her key focus is to lead people in organizations through processes of self-discovery, self actualization and personal growth. Consequently, Layla is continuously engaged in developing her capacity in fields of personal and team development.

Layla obtained her bachelor’s degree from Curtin University with a specialization in Business Studies. Additionally, Layla is a certified Navitus trainer having successfully completed their ‘Train The Trainer’ program.

As a consultant, Layla brings with her an uncanny ability to create an open environment where people at all levels in organizations communicate with each other without hesitation. Her reflective personality and creativity has given her the unique ability to provide innovative perspectives to conventional and challenging business scenarios.

She adds value through her consulting interventions and facilitation of conferences, learning programs & events. She has served a number of clients, including: P&G, Shell Gas, Engro Foods Limited, Unilever Pakistan limited, Gul Ahmed Group of Companies,  United Bank Limited, Telenor, Shell Pakistan, RTN, Geo Tv, Reckitt Benckiser Pakistan, Dalda Foods, Emirates, PepsiCo, RBS (formerly ABN Amro Bank), Dewan Mushtaq Group, Pak Suzuki, Emirates Airlines, Mediacom, Pakistan Mobile Telecommunication (Mobilink), First Micro Finance Bank, Wyeth Pakistan, Deutsche Bank, Adamjee Insurance Company, & EFU to name a few.

Layla is an enthusiastic learner and enjoys gaining knowledge through academic endeavors & practical experiences. Her interests include traveling, non-fiction reading and community work.
